Keeping track of meeting attendance in Microsoft Teams is about to get a lot easier
Keeping track of who attends meetings within Microsoft Teams isn't equally easy as it should be. That's almost to change, however, equally Microsoft is rolling out the option to download an omnipresence report later on a meeting or webinar has concluded. This is a highly requested feature that's received virtually 20,000 votes on a UserVoice thread (via MSPowerUser).
Before the update that's rolling out, you had to download your meeting report before the coming together was over. That limitation hampered people's ability to track meeting attendance, but it shouldn't be an result going forward.
The UserVoice postal service reads:
View or export a listing of users who attended a meeting
Currently, there is no method of viewing a list of meeting attendees afterwards a meeting has concluded.
Meeting organizers should be able to view or export a list of attendees, including enter and exit times, duration, etc.
A Teams engineer responded by saying:
Give thanks you for your continued feedback! Nosotros are in the process of rolling virtually the power to download the Attendance Report after the coming together has ended. This feature will be rolling out over the coming weeks, and we will update here once completed.
The same engineer also links to an item on the Microsoft 365 roadmap about the feature. Co-ordinate to the roadmap and the engineer, the new feature volition curl out this month.
